The Washington Post: Interactive Push Notifications

This was a research project I led while interning for the Washington Post’s digital design team. In the summer of 2014, iOS8 was just about to be released. In coordination with developers, I researched how the new interactive notification feature would function, and what that would mean for the Post’s push notifications. I prototyped several potential user flows for iPhone and iPad. Other projects included researching and streamlining paywall flows, validating current app builds, researching and studying methodologies for gathering user analytics on the mobile platform, and usability testing.
